Piers Morgan returns to TV for ‘Uncensored’ height points on Paramount UK’s Channel 5

Piers Morgan brings his “uncensored” YouTube show to Paramount UK’s Channel 5 from next week, the controversial TV personality announced on his X account on his X account on Friday.

In his post, Morgan said that his show will be launched on Channel 5 on 12 September at 11 p.m. and every Friday evening “will broadcast the best ‘PMU’ moments of the week, teasing that there will be” exciting debates, big -impact interviews and a hard dose of truth. ”

“Uncensored” stays on YouTube, because the Channel 5 -Show essentially contains highlights that have already been posted on the platform. Morgan said: “It’s the first time that a YouTube news show has done this with a linear network.”

In February 2024, Morgan left Talkentv to take “Piers Morgan Uncensored” to YouTube. “It is clear that there is a huge global demand for the content we do, but the dedication to a daily show on a fixed schedule, with all the editing and time sensitivities involved, has been an increasingly unnecessary tranquility,” he said at the time.

Morgan was previously fired from former employer ITV in 2021 after comments he made about Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, in his breakfast show ‘Good Morning Britain’. Ofcom received more than 57,000 complaints about Morgan’s comments, although he was ultimately released from misconduct.

He recently commented on the cancellation of ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’, with the argument that most Late-Night hosts have become ‘Hyperpartian activist hacks’ for the left and that it is really ‘no wonder’ why Stephen Colbert was driven out of the network.

“Most of America’s greatest late-night hosts have become nothing more than Hyperpartian activist hacks for the Democrats-a party that is rarely more unpopular. No wonder that jacket is canned. More will follow,” he said.
