“NFL teams sent me information about their coaching staff, about their selection about their playbooks,” Manning recalled. “I was traveling and tried to find out this new chapter of my life in trying to find out a new team to play ahead.”

He continued: “I had to have an iPhone to be able to download the attachments and see what these teams sent me. I was setting up meetings with teams and talking to them. I had to know a bit about them. If I had the Flip telephone, I would be stuck.”

Manning added: “If I never became a free agent, I would probably still have a Flip telephone.”
