The Breakout star of ‘White Lotus’ has given mixed answers to the idea of being a ‘Nepo -Baby’.

Earlier this week, the 31-year-old admitted that he “understood” how much his career benefited from the descendants of one of the top names of Hollywood.
He said to the New York Times: “You should be completely out of mind in order not to understand the privilege.”

In a separate interview last month, however, the MAX star packed the subject from another perspective of fans fans sharply criticized him after his answer to a “Nepo baby” question was not good.
Patrick said he acknowledged that people said he only got the role in White lotus Because “his father is in the industry.”

He continued: “There will be other people who will say,” Well, I wonder what his father has paid to get that job. ”
“You know, what am I going to do? Convince all those people that that is not true? It is just a waste of my energy.”

The actor added: “I will never convince everyone that I work hard, that I have my own values in life, that I want to make my own name for myself, that I don’t do drugs, that I am not a screw, that I am not a bad, mean person.
“Everyone will always have their opinion about you, whatever happens.”

Some fans suggested that the star was “still in character” during the interview, whereby he mimics the arrogant older brother Saxon that he plays in the series.
Others hit his answer as “delusions” and said he “just doesn’t understand”.

Patrick says he ‘works hard’ and has been taking acting lessons for 10 years.

One person wrote: “He never even had to work a real job to maintain himself because he came out of extreme wealth, so that he can fully concentrate on acting, and his father’s connections and reputations opened all the doors.

The 31-year-old plays the eldest brother Saxon in season 3 of the hit Max series.
Season 3 of White lotus takes place in Thailand, with Patrick in the lead role as the oldest child of a rich couple who stay in the high-end wellness resort.
Patrick’s brothers and sisters are depicted by Sarah Catherine Hook and Sam Nivola, with Jason Isaacs and Parker Posey who plays his parents.
