Paris Jackson claims estate lawyers skimmed millions in lawsuit

“As painful as it is to say this in print, the current documents suggest that a group of close-knit, highly paid attorneys are exploiting the executors’ lack of oversight to siphon money from the estate,” her attorney wrote in a 16-page document.

“Worse, these payments appear to consist, at least in part, of lavish tips awarded to already well-compensated attorneys.”

Paris also asked the judge to halt all legal payments until her request is resolved.

However, the executors vehemently denied the allegations and filed court documents stating that the estate is fending off a series of lawsuits, including the long-standing claim by Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who accuse MJ of abusing them as children while his employees turned a blind eye.

In addition, the executors asked the judge in their request to deny Paris’s petition to halt all legal payments, saying if certain costs were not offset the estate “would likely have to default” in Robson and Safechuck’s lawsuit, “where numerous depositions, discovery and other matters will occur in the coming months,” adding that the two plaintiffs are seeking $400 million in damages.
