Pan Pacific Hotels Group enhances the corporate event experience with “Every Meeting Matters” | News

Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) continues its global commitment to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) with the launch of the Every Meeting Matters campaign, underscoring its commitment to supporting the evolution of corporate events in the post-pandemic era.
As global business travel continues its robust recovery, the MICE industry is experiencing unprecedented transformation and growth. According to data from Research and Markets, the global market for the MICE industry reached a value of approximately $783.70 billion by 2023.[1]. The market is expected to grow further at a CAGR of 6.7% to reach a value of USD 1,407.45 billion by 2032.
The evolution of meetings is also determined by a generational change in the workforce, which has a direct impact on the visitor profile of business events. Industry research shows that Millennials and Generation Z now make up over 40% of conference attendees, with the average age of attendees declining in recent years[2]. This new generation of professionals is driving demand for meetings that are more technology-based, more wellness-oriented, and environmentally responsible.
“Corporate events have evolved significantly in recent years, with organizations looking for experiences that drive collaboration, creativity and meaningful connections. Anticipating this post-pandemic shift, we have strengthened our MICE capabilities across our portfolio, from investing in enhanced event spaces to improving service delivery and technology. With the launch of Every Meeting Matters, we reaffirm our commitment to being a trusted partner for impactful meetings and events that deliver value for organizers and delegates alike,” said Mr. Choe Peng Sum, Chief Executive Officer from PPHG.
Asia-Pacific: a region on the rise
The momentum is equally strong in the Asia-Pacific region. Grand View Research estimates that the region’s MICE market will grow at a CAGR of 10% and reach approximately $355 billion by 2030[3]. Growth is driven by infrastructure development, regional business integration and rising demand for business travel experiences. Demand comes from key markets such as Singapore, India, China and Australia.
PPHG has a strong presence in these markets and is uniquely positioned to meet the evolving needs of MICE travelers with its regional network of properties, delivering high-quality venues in prime city center locations with easy access, natural light ballrooms and versatile configurations suitable for a range of event formats.
Redefining the MICE experience: wellness, sustainability and technology
Companies and organizers throughout the region are looking for more than functional meeting spaces. Today’s MICE travelers demand experiences that are wellness-focused, technologically advanced and environmentally responsible.
As hybrid and technology-based events become the norm, many PPHG branches are equipped with high-speed connectivity, state-of-the-art audiovisual infrastructure and innovative meeting tools that enable seamless collaboration between in-person and virtual audiences. This includes built-in AV systems, immersive LED walls and on-site technical support to deliver seamless events.
A leading trend is the integration of wellness into meetings and conferences. Delegates now expect nutritious menus, exercise breaks and event spaces with natural daylight to promote health and engagement. PPHG is responding by embedding signature wellness experiences across its Pan Pacific, PARKROYAL COLLECTION and PARKROYAL properties.
In the meetings and events industry, organizers are increasingly placing an emphasis on venues that support sustainability, wellness and meaningful participant experiences. Corporate Request for Proposals (RFP) is increasingly prioritizing partners who can demonstrate responsible sourcing, reduced environmental impact and wellness-focused event design. In response, PPHG has strengthened its meeting offerings across its brands, from sustainability-focused experiences at PARKROYAL COLLECTION properties, to locally inspired meetings at PARKROYAL hotels, to enhanced service and culinary experiences at Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts. Initiatives such as reducing single-use items, sourcing event ingredients and materials locally, offering alternatives to bottled water, and incorporating wellness breaks and eco-themed activities into event programs are helping organizers deliver gatherings that are both impactful and environmentally responsible.
“Today’s meeting planners are looking for more than just functional locations. They want spaces that inspire creativity, technology that enables seamless collaboration and experiences that support wellness and sustainability. Our MICE strategy is focused on delivering experiences that combine all of these aspects in a seamless way. Whether it’s wellness-inspired breaks, advanced hybrid meeting options or locally sourced culinary experiences, we want to help organizers create meetings that are both productive and memorable,” said Celine Du, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer at PPHG.
Strategic investments to drive excellence
To support the changing business events landscape, PPHG has invested in Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI) in key markets across Asia Pacific. Notable projects include a complete revitalization of Pan Pacific Perth’s 2,500 square meter conference floor, the city’s largest, with state-of-the-art infrastructure and flexible layouts for immersive experiences.
In addition, many of the group’s hotels are located in prime city center locations, with excellent transport links, making them even more attractive as MICE locations.
“We see significant long-term growth in the corporate events sector, especially in the Asia Pacific region. Our continued investments in meeting and event spaces reflect our confidence in the resilience and future growth of the global MICE industry. By improving our venues and developing our offerings across our brands, we are focused on creating environments where organizations can bring people together, exchange ideas and drive meaningful results,” Choe added.
