Osbourne added: “I have nothing to do on my back and the first thing I have to go is your strength. It’s like you start again. I have a vocal coach four days a week to maintain my voice.” The daughter of Osbourne, Kelly, added that the planned Villa Park version would be deep emotional for the singer and for fans of the legendary metal band.

“It gives me goosebumps who just talk about it, because it’s his time to give back and it’s not about something other than his love for his fans,” she said. “I think it will be a very magical moment.”

From Osbourne is expected to perform a short solo set before he comes to Butler, Iommi and Ward for a complete Sabbat performance.

His wife and old manager Sharon Osbourne71, said that his voice remains unaffected by the progress of his illness.

“He is very happy to come back and very emotionally about this,” she said.

“Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. It is not something that you can stabilize. It influences different parts of the body and it has influenced its legs. But his voice has been as good as it has ever been.”

Osbourne and his family moved back to the UK in 2023, a decision he described as a return home.

“I am English. I want to be back,” he said. “I had enough to live in America. I want to come home.”
