Orlando World Center Marriott Unveils Redesigned Grand Ballroom and Renovated Meeting Spaces | News

Orlando World Center Marriott, the world’s largest Marriott property, completed an extensive renovation of the Grand Ballroom, featuring updated design elements and enhanced functionality for event planners and attendees.

The redesigned Grand Ballroom spans more than 32,000 square feet and offers 14 configurable spaces, providing flexibility for events. The renovation includes new carpet, wall coverings, air wall coverings, entry doors, moldings and modern chandeliers, along with upgraded lighting and sound systems.

“This transformation reflects our commitment to delivering world-class event experiences,” said Robert Bray, general manager of Orlando World Center Marriott. “Every detail has been carefully designed to combine sophistication with adaptability.”

The convention center renovation extends beyond the Grand Ballroom, with new and additional furnishings in the foyers, including communal and soft seating to expand work and networking spaces and modernized public restrooms. In addition, the hotel has added three large-scale digital signage in key areas of the conference space for branding and sponsorship opportunities to complement the digital signage at the entrance and porte-cochere.

The design has a modern aesthetic in soothing gray and blue tones, complemented by energy-efficient LED lighting. The venue offers more than 500,000 square feet of flexible function space, from boardrooms to one of the largest pillar-free ballrooms in the world at 105,000 square feet.

Guest accommodations feature hard floors, large work stations with ample electrical outlets, walk-in showers, an in-room refrigerator, high-speed WiFi and private balconies overlooking the 200-acre resort and Walt Disney World®.

The resort features 10 dining options, a 400,000-liter lagoon pool, seven water slides, a children’s splash zone and a 170-meter lazy river.
