Octavio Pisano and Juliana Martinez Exit ‘Law & Order: SVU’

While “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” is waiting for a pick -up of season 27, it has been revealed that Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano will not return when the show is picked up.

Martinez joined the cast as detective Kate Silva earlier this season, while Pisano went as a detective Joe Velasco in season 23.

Last month Michele Fazekas was named the new showrunner that became the first female showrunner in the history of the procedural.

“Law & Order: SVU” was made by Dick Wolf and led by Mariska Hargitay, who capts. Olivia Benson of the Special Victims Unit of the NYPD spends. It is the longest running show in the “Law & Order” family, and star Ice T, Peter Scanavino and Kevin Kane.

The series, which debuted in TKTK, was a spider -off of ‘Law & Order’. It also led to the spider “Law & Order: Organized Crime”, which streams on Peacock; “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med” and “Chicago PD”, all broadcast on NBC; and “FBI”, “FBI: Most Wanted” and “FBI: International.” While the last three currently broadcast on CBS, “most wanted” and “international” will not return for more seasons.

“SVU” executive producers are Wolf, Graziano, Julie Martin, Hargitay, Norberto Barba, Kenneth Brown and Peter Jankowski.

The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in collaboration with Wolf Entertainment.
