Nvidia to exclude China from its revenue and profit forecasts

Nvidia does not think that the US will quickly support its chip export restrictions to China.

The chip maker is so convinced that it will not include the Chinese market in its turnover and profit forecasts, CEO Jensen Huang told CNN on Thursday.

Huang said he does not count on the Trump administration that reverses his chip export checks and that it would be a nice “bonus” if they did.

The Trump administration introduced license requirements for the H20 chips from Nvidia, the most advanced AI chip that could sell it to China in April. In the results of the first quarter, the company said that these restrictions would result in a $ 8 billion hit until its turnover in the second quarter.

When this development was contacted, a Nvidia spokesperson pointed to comments that Huang made about China about the income call of the company’s company.
