Noel Clarke arrested as a police is looking for London Home

“Doctor Who” star Noel Clarke was arrested on Thursday when his house in London was searched by the police, according to The guardian.
Detectives with the metropolitan police were left on Thursday morning the Kensington -owner of the actor with boxes, reports the Guardian, and Clarke was arrested and questioned in custody. The reason for the arrest is currently unknown and he was eventually released. According to The Guardian, an investigation into Clarke started on 1 September and is led by the Central Specialist Crime Command.
Variety has contacted the metropolitan police for comment. A representative for Clarke could not be reached immediately.
In August, Clarke lost a defamation case against The Guardian, after he had sued the publisher of the newspaper for his first exposé in 2021 with accusations of sexual misconduct of more than 20 women. He has now been ordered to pay £ 3 million ($ 4 million) of the legal costs of the Guardian. More than a dozen women testified against Clarke during the six -week process, each claiming that they had experienced personal misconduct by the actor. He denied that he had behaved sexually inappropriate.
“This judgment is a deserved victory for those women who suffered because of the behavior of Noel Clarke,” said Guardian News and media editor Katharine Viner in a statement after the statement. “Going to court is difficult and stressful, but more than 20 women agreed to testify and refuse to be bullied or intimidated in the Supreme Court.”
During the hearing, Clarke said to court: “I have lost my work, my savings, my legal team, my ability to maintain my family and much of my health.”
