‘No wonder’ Stephen jacket was canceled

Piers Morgan weighs in the cancellation of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
On Sunday morning the TV personality went to X to say that most late-night hosts have become nothing more than “Hyperpartian activist hacks” for the left and that it really is “no wonder” why Stephen Colbert got the boot. He also shared a cover of New York Post with the text: “No wonder he was canned,” The Left Show with Stephen Colbert. ”
“This is so damn,” Morgan. “Most of America’s greatest late-night hosts have become nothing more than Hyperpartian activist hacks for the Democrats-a party that is rarely more unpopular. No wonder that jacket is canned. More will follow.”
Morgan is not the only television authority to speak out about the cancellation of Colbert. Also on Sunday, the former ‘Tonight Show’ guideler Jay Leno Leno Late-Night Frontmen said that too often alienated part of their audience by ‘filling together’ from one political party.
“I love political humor, don’t get me wrong. But it is exactly what happens if people do too much on one or the other.” Leno said in an interview with David Trulio, President and CEO of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute. “Why just shoot for half an audience all the time? You know, why don’t you try to get the whole. I mean, I like to bring people to the big picture.”
On July 17, it was announced that the entire ‘late show’, not only the iteration of Colbert, would come to an end after the next TV season. CBS mentioned the move as a ‘financial decision’, but some wondered if it was to appease the FCC of Donald Trump in the midst of a hanging merger between the paramount of CBS, Paramount and Skydance.
