Nicole Kidman’s Europe Move Spark’s wedding crisis with Keith Urban

Friends admit that they are stunned by the move.

An insider said: “Friends were amazed. They built their reputation to have this unwavering marriage, so Nicole is taking such a big step without Keith is alarm bells. They can still smile at the cameras, but behind closed doors things seem much less simple.”

Kidman and Urban met in 2005 and WO quickly settled in a lifestyle kidman in Nashville the following year, once described as “simple, quiet and nutritious”.

But behind that Serene image is a few that has spent a large part of their marriage apart because of competing careers.

The current American tour of Urban has prevented him from attending the compulsory personal immigration meetings of Portugal and sources say that there is little sign that he is in a hurry to join her.

“Nicole continues to say that it is purely about buying real estate, but Keith does not show a real interest in adding Europe to its life,” said a source.

“He is at his best in Nashville or Sydney. This Portugal movement is completely Nicole’s vision – it drives it, pays for it and pushes forward without his involvement.”
