A source reports this RadarOnline.com: “People really don’t know the full facts of this heartbreaking story and think Brooklyn was just being belligerent when he blocked his parents.

“The reality is that he sent them a letter late last summer asking for correspondence to go through lawyers only, and he wanted to try to make amends privately, not publicly.

“He felt that his parents continued to ignore his wishes and mention him online instead of contacting him privately.

“For their part, David and Victoria have simply tried to let their beloved eldest son know that the door is always open, and that they still care.

“After this letter, they had no other physical means to contact him, so what were they supposed to do?

‘They obviously feel completely bewildered and devastated by this latest turn of events. There is no malice on their part, only concern.

“But it is clear that if any reconciliation is to take place, it will have to be kept out of the sight of prying eyes and will have to take place in private.

“That’s all anyone wants, but unfortunately it still seems very far away as they are only now communicating through lawyers.”
