Nicola Coughlan and Aimee Lou Wood will host subsequent episodes

“Saturday Night Live UK” has announced its next two hosts.
“Bridgerton’s” Nicola Coughlan and “White Lotus” star Aimee Lou Wood will handle hosting duties for episodes 5 and 6. Coughlan will be joined by Foo Fighters as musical guest on April 25, while Wood will host on May 2 with an appearance by British singer Meek.
The most recent episode of the sketch show was hosted by British comedian Jack Whitehall with R&B artist Jorja Smith as musical guest. Previous presenters and musical guests include Riz Ahmed with Kasabian, Jamie Dornan with Wolf Alice and Tina Fey with Wet Leg.
After a week-long hiatus, “SNL UK” returns with four more weekly episodes starting April 25 for a season of eight shows in total. Although ratings got off to a solid start with 226,000 viewers tuning into Sky at 10pm, the Ahmed-hosted third episode saw viewership drop to 130,950.
In addition to the weekly host, “SNL UK” stars Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.
“SNL UK” is produced by the British production team of Universal Television Alternative Studio and Broadway Video for Sky and NOW. Lorne Michaels is executive producer, James Longman will serve as lead producer, Liz Clare as director and Daran Jonno Johnson as head writer.
In addition to broadcast live on Sky and streaming service NOW, “SNL UK” will be available to watch the next day on Peacock in the US.
