New video shows Diddy having a good time with fans just before the arrest in New York

Diddy never seemed happier than on the streets of his hometown of New York on Monday night – a scene that offered no indication that the music mogul would soon find himself in federal custody and facing criminal charges.

TMZ has obtained new video of Diddy interacting with several excited fans on a dark street in Midtown Manhattan, about 30 minutes before federal agents arrested him at the nearby Park Hyatt Hotel.

Take a look at the footage… Diddy had a very friendly chat with four guys – and everyone had bright smiles on their faces. Diddy was so energetic that he shook hands with one of the boys, who bowed and started laughing.

Diddy was also filmed talking to two of the same men in an animated manner while shaking his body up and down.

We also obtained footage of Diddy and his crew hanging out just outside the Park Hyatt Hotel shortly before he was arrested.

Hours earlier… Diddy was photographed walking through New York with his son Christian ‘King’ Combs. The two stopped to greet pedestrians and take selfies with them.

After his small street rallies, Diddy was arrested late Monday by the FBI at the Park Hyatt and taken to the federal building in lower Manhattan.

Diddy is now facing one grand jury indictment currently under seal. As you know, Diddy has been underwater federal investigation for sex and drug trafficking and other serious crimes.
