Netflix’s ‘Best Guess Live’ mobile game is giving away $1 million next week

Netflix wants to raise awareness of its new mobile game ‘Best Guess Live’ by giving away a total of $1 million over the course of next week. The daily jackpot, which is normally $15,000, will increase to $50,000 on Monday and then escalate throughout the week until participants will play for a chance to win a $500,000 jackpot on Friday, December 26.

The new mobile game show, which launched on December 8, airs weekdays at 8pm ET/5pm PT on a special Netflix “Best Guess Live” app dedicated to the competition. Howie Mandel (“America’s Got Talent”) and Hunter March (“Sugar Rush”) split hosting duties.

The daily pot is divided over two puzzles every weekday. Players are asked to guess what one of the evening’s secret items is. It could be a person, a place or a thing, and players will have to figure it out through a series of five clues (shared in the form of riddles, of course). The first people to correctly discover the item split the pot, but you only get one guess per puzzle.

The mobile game is recorded live every weekday evening from Apploff Entertainment’s Los Angeles office; executive producer Jeff Apploff (“Beat Shazam,” “Don’t Forget the Lyrics”) created the show with Noah Bonnett.

During the holiday week of Monday, December 22 through Friday, December 26, the prize pool will total $1 million. Below you will find an overview of the cash prizes for the holidays:

Mon Dec 22 – $50,000

Tuesday, December 23 – $100,000

Wednesday, December 24 – $150,000
