Netflix documentary: Victoria Beckham’s Biggest Revelations

In the documentary, Victoria admitted she had an “incredibly unhealthy” eating disorder that she never talked about openly.

“When you have an eating disorder, you become really good at lying, and I’ve never been honest about it with my parents. I’ve never talked about it publicly,” she noted. “It really gets to you when you’re constantly told you’re not good enough, and I suppose that’s been the case all my life.”

The I wish The singer deteriorated even further when she was weighed on TV, six months after giving birth to her and David’s first child in 1999.

“We laugh about it and joke about it when we were on TV, but I was really young, and that hurts,” Victoria revealed, noting that she has also been called “Porky Posh” and “Skinny Posh.”

“I mean, you know it’s been a lot, and that’s hard,” she admitted. “I had no control over what was written about me, over the pictures that were taken, and I guess I wanted to control that, you know, with the clothes. I could control my weight, and I controlled it in an incredibly unhealthy way.”
