Marcus Morris Sr. was arrested based on a fraud in Florida … TMZ has learned.
The 13-year-old NBA veteran was taken into custody on Sunday in Broward County, Florida, according to online booking records.
The authorities of Florida released his mug shot … and he is not one of those celebrities who flashes a smile in front of the camera – he stares straight ahead, no expression on his face.
Morris played College Basketball at the University of Kansas and was selected with the 14th general choice in the NBA design of 2011 by the Houston Rockets.
The Power Forward played two season in Houston before bouncing around the competition … Enjoying short stints with the Phoenix Suns, Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers.
Morris last appeared during the 2023-2024 season … The splitting of the time between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Philadelphia 76ers. He on average 12 points and 4.4 rebounds about 832 games in his career.
Marcus has tackled a few legal problems over the years … including a distraction program due to a battery charge of 2012. He was also acquitted of attack costs arising from an alleged fight in 2015.
