Natasha Rothwell didn’t know that season 4 of ‘White Lotus’ is in France

The public has followed Natasha Rothwell‘s Belinda around the world for two seasons The White Lotusbut where the character ends up in season 4 remains a mystery.

Rothwell, 44, narrated We weekly only that she does not yet know where the fourth season of the popular HBO series will take place almost a month after her costar Parker Posey confirmed that the show will be filmed in France.

“I’m Jon Snow. I don’t know anything, so this is news to me,” Rothwell said while discussing her collaboration with Asics for their Everyday Escape campaign. “Let me tell you, I love being the last to know when it comes to something White Lotusbecause I had to keep secrets for two years for season 3.”

The Insecure alum shared that she was the first actor cast in Season 3 when the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike began, delaying production and forcing her to remain a mother for several months.

“I’ve read the script [for season 3]. I just knew too much, and so I like not knowing [about season 4]Rothwell added. “I’m going to text Parker and ask her. I’m like, ‘Where did you find this out?’ I don’t know anything.”

Although Rothwell may not know the location White Lotus season 4, she is grateful for the opportunity to explore Belinda’s growth. When we last saw the beloved White Lotus spa manager, she was leaving her old life behind after accepting $5 million in exchange for her silence about Tanya McQuoid’s death (Jennifer Coolidge). Rothwel said Us that she relates to Belinda’s journey.

“I think playing Belinda has been such a gift,” the actress said. “I think Belinda and I have a lot in common, but I think I’m further along in terms of my growth. I think we’re seeing her putting everyone else first. As someone who is a recovering people-pleaser, bringing in a character who hasn’t yet discovered what I have is a reminder of how far I’ve come.”

Since being diagnosed with ADHD last year, Rothwell has worked to better understand her mental health and develop a wellness routine that works for her. This journey is reflected in her ad spot for the Everyday Escape campaign, where she appears as a concierge with a playful nod to Belinda. The campaign encourages people to take a 15-minute exercise break to improve their mental health.

“I always try to take a break, whether it’s on my calendar or if it’s my watch telling me to wait a moment and ask myself what my body needs,” Rothwell shared. “A lot of times that’s water, food and exercise, but especially exercise. I think being able to take calls while walking outside, putting on the Asics, and diversifying the way I take my meetings and how I organize my day has played a big role in integrating health and wellness into my life in a way that is sustainable.”

Rothwell wants to continue sharing the message that healthy living is achievable for all people, regardless of class, race or size. The most important thing, she emphasizes, is that people feel empowered to take control of their health.

“I think a lot of times, especially with the commodification of health and wellness, there’s a price to pay for being healthy,” the actress said. “I fundamentally disagree with that. I think it’s classic. I think that’s why my collaboration with Asics means so much to me, because as a plus-size person who speaks out about health and wellness, it directly counters what we see on film and television.”
