Natasha Lyonne claims ICE detained her after the flight kicked off

Natasha Lyonne claimed in a new X-post that she was “detained” by ICE after being kicked off a flight following her April 7 appearance at the Season 3 premiere of “Euphoria” in Hollywood. The Emmy nominee, whose “Euphoria” red carpet appearance went viral for her sheer top, clarified a widely circulated report claiming she was kicked off a flight from Los Angeles to New York before it took off due to unruly behavior. Page six was the first to tell the story.
“Indeed, I took a Lunesta with me once I was seated to ensure I could keep an eye on the Delta One red-eye flight to New York,” Lyonne posted on News. “Boarded seamlessly with just a backpack and sneakers, eager for a nap. The plan was to be bushy-tailed and rested, as the plan was to go straight to glam upon landing for a spot with our beloved Drew Barrymore. I was looking forward to seeing Drew and having an in-depth conversation, but I guess ICE had other plans and I got arrested instead. Sign of the times, I guess. Thanks for all the love and support. Never had a problem with Delta before or TSA. Hart is with our unpaid TSA employees. Apologies to all travelers who were delayed.”
Variety has reached out to Lyonne’s agents, plus representatives from ICE and the Department of Homeland Security, for comment.
Lyonne first revealed that she was heading to New York City to appear on “The Drew Barrymore Show” in an April 9 post on
Hours after posting, Lyonne showed up in New York City and walked the red carpet at the premiere of the Focus Features documentary “Lorne.” She also attended the film’s after-party, where she took photos with friends like Seth Meyers and Sarah Sherman. Lyonne walked the red carpet with friend Hamer Morgenstern.
Lyonne revealed on X in January that she had relapsed and was no longer sober, but in March she returned with fans to announce that she was “doing a lot better and back on her feet.”
