Nancy Guthrie’s DNA tests could take ‘a year’ to analyze

Nanos, who has been under fire for the way he conducted the investigation, continues to insist his officers have no suspects or a list of names. This is in stark contrast to some local businesses who claimed the FBI showed them a list of suspects and names.
In an interview on Friday, February 20, Nanos acknowledged delays in the investigation, saying, “It’s never fast enough for the sheriff. I want it just like you, ‘Come on guys, let’s go, let’s go, let’s find her. But the reality is, I also know that sometimes things take time.’
Although there have been no updates on the missing 84-year-old for days, Nanos emphasized that the investigation is still “growing.”
“In terms of leads and working and coming out, I would say that’s growing, yes,” he noted.
