The news comes as police investigate the possible theft of Liam Payne’s Rolex watch.
He reportedly wore the expensive watch for two to three hours before jumping from the third floor of a hotel, according to local newspaper La Nacion.
The watch was not recovered from the singer’s body by the police.
Police sources told the newspaper: ‘From the images analyzed we know that Payne was wearing a Rolex on the day of his death.
“He carried it in one of his wrists and he held it for at least two to three hours before he jumped into the void.
“We looked for it in the room of the CasaSur hotel where he was staying, but we couldn’t find it.”
