Music lawyer saw Michael Jackson go from normal to totally insane

Because of their years of relationship, Mason gave special insight into Michael’s troubled later years, when he was confronted with accusations of child abuse.

Michael, who died on 25 June 2009 at the age of 50, was acquitted in 2005 of charges for child abuse. He maintained his innocence until his death.

For his part, Mason said that if there was ever some inappropriate activity of Michael, he never saw it.

“At that time I don’t feel that Michael was strange in one of the ways in which people think today,” he said.

Yet he has followed the constant rumors and accusations that have been imposed against Michael over the years, and confesses that he felt ‘sad for his life’.

Mason thought: “It went from the time I worked with him, when he was very normal, absolutely insane.”
