Amber heard, Kim Kardashian and more and more celebrity parents have chosen unique names for their children over the years.
The Aquaman star secretly welcomed her daughter Oonagh in April 2021. “She is the beginning of the rest of my life,” Heard wrote via social media in July that year.
Kardashian, meanwhile, raised eyebrows when she and her then-husband Kanye West named their firstborn child North. The now exes also share daughter Chicago and sons Saint and Psalm.
Ashley Tisdale is another star who chose a special name when she and her husband were Christopher Frans welcomed their first baby, daughter Jupiter.
“I didn’t think of her name until a year and a half before I got pregnant,” Tisdale explained during a 2021 conversation. Good morning America visit and noted that the name was inspired by a song her mother sang when she put on her tights as a child. “It’s like, ‘Hands up! Reach for the stars, there goes Jupiter, there goes Mars.” And I thought, ‘Jupiter is such a great name!’”
