Microsoft CEO says up to 30% of the company’s code was written by AI

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that 20% -30% of the code in the company’s repositories “written by software”-what AI means a fireside chat with meta-Coo Mark Zuckerberg on the Llamacon conference of Meta on Tuesday.
Nadella gave the figure after Zuckerberg asked about how much of the Microsoft code is being generated today. The CEO of Microsoft said the company saw mixed results in AI-generated code in different languages, with more progress in Python and less in C ++.
Microsoft Cto Kevin Scott earlier said he expected 95% of all code to be generated By 2030.
When Nadella threw the question back in Zuckerberg, the Meta -CEO said that he did not know how much of the Meta code is generated by AI.
About Microsoft Rival Google’s profit call last week, said CEO Sundar Pichai that generated AI More than 30% of the company code. It is of course unclear how Microsoft and Google exactly what is AI-generated versus not, so these figures can best be taken with a grain of salt.
