Each performer has their own pre-show ritual, and Mickey Guyton‘It’s about enjoying a fun adult drink.

“I definitely have some rosé because it just gets me off,” the country star, 41, shares exclusively in the latest issue of We weekly. “Sometimes a shot of tequila. For example, one shot of tequila gets me going, takes away the anxiety and I’m good to go. And a prayer, we always make sure we pray with the band before we go out.”

When it comes to her wine preferences, Guyton jokes that her backstage rosé can be “any” kind, adding, “It can be canned. It can be done in a glass. As long as it’s cold and in my hand.”

Another clothing must-have for Guyton is “great lighting.” She explains: “We need good lighting, but not too cold, because it is often freezing in these backstages. And [we need] a good candle. I love a nice smelling candle. That’s something I definitely need. To be honest, I’m not that picky.”
