Michael Irvin says Cowboys ‘must’ act at deadline to save season

Michael Irvin tells TMZ Sports If his beloved Cowboys don’t make some action before the trade deadline next week… the curtains on Dallas’ season could already be in sight.
The Hall of Famer made it crystal clear to us Monday at LAX that the only thing that can save his former team from impending irrelevance is adding a key piece between now and the NFL’s final trading day on November 5.
Dak Prescott now has two interceptions in three straight games. He called the second INT against the 49ers a “stupid” play. I wish he would throw it away or throw it harder

Irvin told us that if the Cowboys don’t improve their roster with a trade… there will be many more losses coming their way like the one they suffered against the 49ers on Sunday night.
“They have to do something,” the Hall of Famer said. ‘They have to do something. Things are bad right now.”
Dallas’ record is currently 3-4… but the team hasn’t been competitive in any of its four losses. And even with their wins, the Cowboys haven’t looked great.
But Irvin says if they just take one step, things might work out.
Irvin didn’t mention any names he’d like to see Dallas acquire…but… according to NFL.comrecipients want Diontae Johnson, Adam Thielen And Mike Williams could be available – and all three would certainly help the fight Dak Prescott.
As for Mike McCarthy‘s future in Big D — Irvin isn’t ready to claim his head just yet … though he did note that if the ship doesn’t right itself soon, the coach could be looking for another job in 2025.
