Donald Trump‘s victory lap after defeating Kamala Harris maybe a stop at UFC 309… as Michael Chandler tells TMZ Sports he is under the impression that the president-elect will be there next weekend.
Chandler – who fights Charles Oliveira at the card’s co-main event – says one of the last times he spoke to Trump in the run-up to Tuesday’s election, The Don told him he would appear on the Nov. 16 fight night at Madison Square Garden as he would beat Harris on Nov. 5.
“He said, ‘I’m going to be there on November 16 because we won the election, or if I lost I’m going to be depressed and not show up,’” Chandler told us.
“Obviously he won the election, so it sounds like he’ll be there.”
Trump is, of course, no stranger to attending this meeting Dana White‘s big events… he’s been to a lot over the years – including June, when he made the trip to Newark, NJ for UFC 302.

There’s no word yet on whether his plans are still intact after the big win on election night … but Chandler said he’s confident Trump will be there, as he’s been a big supporter of DTs over the years.
In fact, he says he has an American fit planned for the big championship match against Oliveira.
“I will have the American flag on my body,” the 38-year-old promised. “And it will be an honor to go there, raise my hand, in the most iconic arena in the world, for our president-elect, and it will be a good night at Madison Square Garden.”

As for his opponent, Oliveira, who is from Brazil, told us he thinks it would be cool to face Chandler in front of Trump.
It’s all scheduled to happen in eight days, just minutes before the Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic heavyweight fight… getcha popcorn — and MAGA hats? — finished!
