Roy Rosselló says he is just happy that his honesty can help Erik and Lyle Mendez … admit that he is happy that his testimony was not ‘in vain’.
The Menudo singer – whose revelation that Erike and Lyle’s father, Jose MendezReportedly sexually abused him when he was a child in the band Menudo – spoke with The American sun … and he gave his thoughts about a statement that public prosecutors should demonstrate why exemption should not be granted to the brothers.
Roy says: “I am proud and happy with the decision of the judge. My testimony was not in vain. To my understanding, these individuals are always innocent victims. Their souls have been lost, convicted and mutilated, devoid of hope, future or destination since their father began to abuse them.”
He further says that the judge has made a wise decision in his ruling … Now adding is the time to “make changes in many areas.”
We broke the story … Judge William C. Ryan assessed two new pieces of evidence – Rosselló’s testimony that Jose abused him in 1983 or 1984 and one last from Erik to Andy Cano Returned around the murders about his alleged abuse.
Ryan stated that prosecutors “were ordered to show a cause … why the requested exemption should not be granted.” They still have a few weeks to do this.

A judge of the Supreme Court has already changed the punishment of Erik and Lyle of life without conditional release 50 years to life … and there will be a complete conditional hearing next month.
Roy was a major role in that … and he is clearly happy that he could do his share.
