Megyn Kelly stands by Savannah Guthrie’s brother-in-law’s claims

Kelly, 55, noticed the way TODAY has reported on the search of the home Cioni shares with Savannah’s sister Annie in Tucson, Arizona.

“It’s interesting to see NBC on television in the morning Today let see what they report on this matter, for I have no doubt it will be blessed by Savannah. There’s no doubt they’re asking her, “Do you like this?” They wouldn’t want to upset her or get ahead of their skis or go somewhere she didn’t want to go,” the former Fox News host noted during her Monday, February 9, SiriusXM show.

Kelly observed how TODAY reported on the search of Annie’s home after Banfield, 58, claimed Her and Cioni’s car was “towed, seized and taken into evidence.”

“And they were the ones who broke the news that the search of Annie’s home was consensual, and not through a search warrant. So for me, I infer, although I can’t confirm it, as an independent fact, that she doesn’t want it to look like her sister or anyone living in that house, like the brother-in-law, is in trouble in any way,” Kelly surmised that Savannah didn’t want her brother-in-law named as a suspect.
