Meghan Markle teases upcoming announcement with new video

Meghan Markle is preparing something new – literally.
“Save the Date,” a video featuring a number of lit, tapered candles, was captioned in Markle’s signature calligraphy on Friday, October 24, on both her official Instagram account and the account of her lifestyle brand As Ever.
“October 28th…” was seen in the video, before the Duchess of Sussex shared another video showing what appeared to be the former royal spreading her coveted jam. The name of her brand, As Ever, in her calligraphy and the same date of October 28 also appeared in the video.
Meghan first teased an upcoming announcement on Thursday, October 26, when she shared a Reel via Instagram of her walking through a sun-drenched orchard. ‘As Ever…’ appeared above the video in white calligraphy, followed by ‘Save the date, October 28…’
Meghan launched the brand on April 2, after announcing her return to the lifestyle world in February.
“I’m excited to introduce you to As Ever – a brand I created and poured my heart into. ‘As ever’ means ‘the way it’s always been’ or some even say ‘the same way it’s always been’. If you’ve followed me since the time I created The Tig, you know this couldn’t be more true for me,” she wrote via Instagram. “This new chapter is an expansion of what has always been my love language, where everything I cherish is beautifully intertwined: food, gardening, entertainment, thoughtful living and finding joy in the everyday.”
The brand’s site went live the same day as Meghan’s series With love, Meghan premiered on Netflix. “As Ever is more than a brand – it’s a language of love. Created by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, As Ever welcomes you with a collection of products, each inspired by her long-standing love of cooking, entertaining and hosting with ease,” read a note on the As Ever site at the time. “This curated collection was created to elevate your everyday life and inspire moments of joy.”
After officially launching her brand in April, Meghan quickly sold out within an hour. Her honey was especially popular and sold out within five minutes.
As Ever offers a variety of home and entertainment products, including raspberry jam, wildflower honey with honeycomb, crepe mix, floral sprinkles and shortbread cookies.
In a press release the company issued in April, the product line was described as “a glimpse into Meghan’s approach to elevated, everyday life and is inspired by her long-standing love of cooking, entertaining and easy hosting.”

As always

While Meghan hasn’t shared what the newest product will be, her jams are among the most popular As Ever offers. She promoted the product by sending early releases to Kris Jenner, Mindy Kaling and more.
During an appearance on As Ever, Kaling talked about how much it meant to her to receive a jar of jam, but admitted she wondered who else was getting one.
“As a very hierarchical person, I thought: who are these people?” Kaling, who received pot number 19 of 50, said on the show. “Does having a lower number make me more special?”
The product tease comes as Meghan recently lost her 10th head of communications with the departure of Emily Robinson.
“Mrs Robinson oversaw the project work during a very successful season With love, Meghan and extra support for the production company,” says a spokesperson for 44-year-old Meghan We weekly in a statement on Friday, October 24. “She did an excellent job and completed these projects with great success.”
Robinson joined Meghan’s team in June after previously working in publicity for Netflix. The Times of London And People reported that Robinson left of his own accord.
Two of Meghan’s previous communications professionals have also been promoted to non-publicity roles for Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry.
