Meghan Markle is desperately pushing for an invite to Valentino’s funeral

If Markle somehow manages to score one of the coveted invites to Valentino’s funeral, hopefully she won’t make headlines for the wrong reasons like she did during Paris Fashion Week.

The former cable TV actress took an Instagram Story video from the window of her chauffeur-driven SUV as it drove along the Seine River at night. She showed off the Pont Alexandre III and the Pont des Invalides, then waved the camera to see her plop her feet on the chair just before reaching the Pont de l’Alma.

In the tunnel under that bridge, her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, died in a horrific car accident in 1997.

Not only was the location disturbing, considering Markle is married to Diana’s son, Prince Harry, but the video also reportedly made her eldest child, Prince William, “incomprehensible beyond words.”

“For him, it wasn’t just bad taste – it was personal desecration. That tunnel is sacred ground. Meghan treating it like a selfie moment was the ultimate insult,” an insider said at the time about the future king’s reaction.
