Meghan Markle ‘in total shock’ over Prince Harry’s plans for their children

The source added: “Meghan is completely shocked that he’s even bringing it up. She thinks it’s far too soon, and the idea that he might have talked about moving the kids to Britain without consulting her is leaving her feeling overwhelmed.”

Harry is said to have shared his thoughts on British education during a visit to Britain in September, telling a friend that he wanted “the very best education” for his children – and that he feared they would miss out on experiences shared by his children’s cousins, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

Sources say the Duke wants his children to form a network of lifelong friends similar to his own.

Singer Joss Stone, who recently returned to Britain with her family from Nashville, has publicly said that Harry had praised the British school system as “amazing” when they met at the recent WellChild Awards.

“It was nice to share that with him because that’s exactly why we were drawn to come back – so the children can grow up surrounded by family, friends, a strong sense of belonging and, most importantly, in a safe environment,” she said.
