Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney, have been together for more than ten years.

The Jimmy Kimmel Live! Host and McNearney met in 2004 when she started working on the show as Writer’s Assistant, per Glamor.

They started dating in 2010, two years after McNearney became a co-writer.

According to McNearney, they were initially Platonic since they went out with other people at that time. After Kimmel’s split from Sarah Silverman, he found love again with McNearney.

“When we started dating, I would go back and forth between my place and his,” she said Entertainment weekly. “I have my things at my home and I love my own space. Once he was in the bathroom for a long time, and I thought there was just something internal.”

After three years together, Kimmel asked her during a holiday in Kruger National Park in South Africa. They made the knot in Ojai, California, on July 13, 2013.

Before McNearney, Kimmel was married from 1988 to 2002 to his school dear, Gina Maddy.
