Meet Eric Dane’s family: Woman Rebecca Gayheart and two daughters
Eric Dane Has family by his side while he navigates a new normally in the midst of his continuous health struggle.
“I am diagnosed as a diagnosis,” Dane announced in April 2025. “I am grateful that I have my loving family by my side while we navigate this next chapter.”
His statement continued: “I feel happy that I am able to keep working and look forward to returning to [the] set of Euphoria Next week. I kindly ask you to give my family and I privacy during this time. ‘
The Dane’s struggle was unveiled hours after his wife, Rebecca Gayheartsubmitted to reject its divorce application, seven years after they are initially separated. (Dane and Gayheart, who married in 2004, share two daughters.)
Although Dane did not publicly discuss the UPS and Downs with GayHeart, she spoke frankly about their Coparenting relationship.
“I will not lie, it has not been easy. But I think what is exciting, which awaits us, because so many different things can happen,” she said during an interview in 2019. “My ex Eric and I, we are friends and we do our best to coparent and a family, even though we are not married.

William Melvin
Dane’s father died of a shot wound when he was 7 years old.
“My grandmother thinks it was an accident,” Dane shared with the Wave times In 2014. “Everyone has a different opinion about it.”
During the same interview, Dane explained how his father’s death eventually had a deep impact on his life.
“I never realized how knowledge and I was aware when I had my own children and I see how Cogent Billie is at the age of 4 and think,” My God, this must have been devastating at the age of 7, “he remembered. “The consciousness I would have had at that age must have been devastating.”

Dane married Gayheart in 2004 and they welcomed two daughters during their marriage. In February 2018 she applied for a divorce and irreconcilable differences with the help of irreconcilable differences. The couple was separated for seven years before Gayheart was submitted to reject her divorce request in April 2025.

Eric and Gayheart welcomed their eldest daughter, Billie Beatrice, in March 2010.

Their second daughter, Georgia Geraldine, was born in December 2011.
