“M*A*S*H” Actor Mike Farrell reflects on the time he spent with his Costar Loretta Swit For her sudden death last week.
Mike tells us that Loretta’s assistant was the one who had contacted him About her death … and he defines Loretta as a “dynamo”.
Note the clip … Farrell shares the great thing he will always remember about her on the set is her ability to sit and her understated herself, but when she cried in a scene, she would roar like Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan – her fiery character on “M*A*S*H.”
The actor will continue to share with us that the cast was really a family and was really involved in each other’s lives.
Unfortunately, the “Core 7” was separated from the show by a number of the couple who recently die, and Farrell opens for us by saying: “We have seen many of our comrades pass … one by one slipping.”
Mike then mentions the four members of the gang who enters the legacy “m*a*s*h” – Alan Alda” Jamie Farr” Gary BurghoffAnd himself.
“She was a trooper,” as Mike said they would like to call her, and he wants fans to know that it is not necessary to feel sorry, and that she is probably happy to be at Harry Morgan – what she loved- as well as everyone else from the cast that passed.
