Masaaki Yuasa launches the new Studio Ame Pippin in Tokyo

The acclaimed Japanese animation director Masaaki Yuasa has announced the launch of his own animation studio, Ame Pippin. Working with industrial giants Asmik Ace, Inc., Anyplex Inc. And Comix Wave Films Inc. promises to bring Yuasa’s new company new and innovative content into the world of animation.

Yuasa, known for its unique and imaginative stories, has been a prominent figure in the animation world for decades. In 2013 he was co-founder of the hugely popular Japanese animation studio science Saru with producer Eunyoung Choi.
