Newly released police video shows Mary Lou Retton Found with her celebrity status during her arrest earlier this year … at one point screaming against officers: “I am the first daughter of West Virginia!”
The walk -in with the Fairmont City Police Department took place in Marion County, WV, back on 17 May … After the authorities said she was riding recklessly.
An incident report stated during a traffic stop, agents smoke drinks about her person … and noted that she’s her words. It added that “a screw cap container” was also visible in her passenger seat.
In Body Cam images from the scene that was just released on Tuesday, you see Retton-A Fairmont, WV-Inwener-Leek agitated to be held from the start … Constant officers ask if they really had to perform the field outuurity tests.
She seemed to fail them all … Although she obliged them during a leg on one leg, she said she should be able to pass it because she is “an Olympic golden medal winner!”
Retton – who had to deal with an oxygen tank and mask during the meeting with the police – was eventually placed in handcuffs after she refused to do Breathalyzer tests … and from that moment she seemed to wonder if it was all necessary.
She was repeatedly heard that she said ‘wow’, while she called the situation ‘incredible’. While she was at the station, she wondered aloud if the police knew who she was.
“I am the first daughter of West Virginia!” she said.
Within the station, Retton sobbed – while he called agents ‘terrible’. She also argued with staff about her oxygen intake and stated that she would “die here.”
Retton was ultimately struck with one count of Dui on the incident-Early judicial information that she did not argue for a first, non-controversial dun-complaint … and was ordered to pay a fine of $ 100.
After the case of the case, she said in a statement: “I take full responsibility for my actions. What happened was completely unacceptable. I don’t apologize. To my family, friends and my fans: I have disappointed you, and I am sorry for that.”
The 57-year-old continued to say that she is “determined to learn and grow from this experience, and I am committed to make positive changes in my life.”
