Mariska Hargitay reveals the shocking family secrecy about her mother

“I never intend to hurt anyone, and I’m sorry if I did,” the Law & Order: SVU Star told her half -sisters (who look exactly like it) in the documentary.

“That is so difficult that at the time I did not have the wisdom to say that it was not yours to wear. The fact is that I was wrong because you had to live with the secret all those years.”

Why did she really lie? To protect her father, Mickey. When Mariska learned the truth at the age of 25, she confronted Mickey. He denied it violently and got angry.

“I was in so much pain, but I could see that his pain was almost worse. So I decided that I would never talk about it again, and I never did that.”
