Marc Blucas and wife Ryan Haddon’s relationship timeline
Actor Marc Blucas and his wife, Ryan Haddonhave been together for over ten years.
Blucas, best known for roles in Summer catch, First daughter and a series of Hallmark movies married Haddon in 2009. Together they share two daughters. (Haddon also co-parents two older children with an ex-husband Christian Slater.)
“My family will always be more important to me than my career,” the actor told the Wake Forest University alumni magazine in 2019. “Right now, my kids are at an age where they want to be around me.”
Blucas even flies home from the set every two weeks to see his loved ones. He and Haddon live with their mixed brood in a renovated farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania.
“You know what’s great, our house was built in 1711, you know, before George Washington was born. … It’s a way to stay creatively stimulating when I’m not filming and working,” Blucas said during a 2016 interview on Hallmark’s Home & Family. “We wanted to be closer to family, so we moved back to the East Coast to be with them. It’s the only place in the United States that has that kind of architecture, with old stone barns and old stone houses.”
According to Blucas, the building has become ‘projects for life’.
“We have fifteen chickens, two rabbits, a dog and cats – nature is that [off-the-charts]”, he added. ‘We are looking [foxes and deer] continual. We house them all. In fact, my wife [and I] had to introduce a new rule. … We were doing the main house and my wife comes home with chicks and so I’m thinking, ‘Where are we going to put them, honey?’
