Love on the Spectrum Stars Slam RFK JR.’s Autism comments as ‘ignorant’

The stars of Netflix’s “Love on the Spectrum” speak out against Robert F. Kennedy Jr. And his comments about autism.
In a seat with News “Love on the spectrum” star Dani Bowman said that Kennedy “completely untrue” is by saying that autistic people “will never pay taxes, they will never hold a job, they will never play baseball, they will never write a poem, they will never go on a date.”
“Autistic people have the same hope, dreams and yes, the same uncomfortable dating moments as someone else,” said Bowman. “To generalize and say that none of us can work, date or contribute to society, is completely incorrect. I have a job. I pay taxes. I have dated. I have a master’s degree.”
She continued: “Wanting to heal autism implies that our way is wrong and that is not. We do not have to be resolved. We must be supported. But the answer did not know autism, it builds a more inclusive world for all of us.”
James B. Jones shared his thoughts about Kennedy about Tap. The Netflix reality star said he discovered that the explanations were “extremely ignorant and perfectly candid, downright offensive.”
“I am old enough, I am enough age that I can remember for a while in which society did not have a very thorough understanding of autism or similar forms of neurodiversity,” Jones said. “So I am very dissatisfied, very discouraged to hear someone making that nature.”
Jones added that attending special educational programs was ‘very helpful’ when he was young, and that they ‘helped me to grow and develop into the person I am today’.
