Looksmaxxing Influencer Clavicular Leaves ’60 Minutes’ Interview

Braden Peters, better known by his “looskmaxxing” persona Clavicular, walked out of his interview with “60 Minutes Australia” correspondent Adam Hegarty after being asked if he identifies with the incel community.
“Do I identify as an incel?” Peters said. “I mean, how can you ask me that question as a follow-up to your question about my relationships with women. I mean, that’s literally the worst set of questions I think I’ve ever heard.”
Hegarty continued: “Let me rephrase that then. Looksmaxxing was clearly a term coined by the incel community. How do you feel about being associated with that group?”
“I am not affiliated with that group in any way,” Peters replied. “Looksmaxxing is self-improvement, right? So the point is that you can possibly even rise out of that category. So that would be one of the goals to break away from being an incel and overcome that. So that doesn’t make sense.”
Hegarty then shifted gears to Peters’ relationship with highly controversial “manosphere” influencer Andrew Tate, who is currently accused of rape, sexual assault and human trafficking in Britain. He asked Peters, “Why do you spend time with people like that?”
“I see you want to make this political,” Peters replied. “Too bad I didn’t have time to investigate, you know, something about possibly, you know, who your wife was cheating on, but don’t try to follow that line of questioning with me.”
Hegarty then said: “I’m not married.” Peters then concluded before walking away, “So I can teach you something about looksmaxxing, and then maybe you can change that. Thanks for the time, appreciate the interview.”
