‘Looking for Sister Wife’ star Garrick Merrifield threatened to call ICE on woman

‘Looking for Sister Wife’ star Garrick Merrifield was arrested Monday for domestic violence against his wife… and now we’ve discovered explosive details about the dramatic incident, including a threat to call Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by TMZ, Garrick’s wife was… Larranatold police that her husband took her phone away during a heated argument and refused to allow her to contact her family in Brazil.

The documents say Larrana told Garrick she wanted to call police, but he wouldn’t give her phone back and threatened to call ICE. Larrana told police she was terrified because she was not aware of all the laws, even though she is in the country legally with a visa.

As a result, Larrana has been searching the internet for ways to contact the police, which she believes Garrick found out about because he turned off the Wi-Fi on her devices.

Although she did not want Garrick arrested, police arrested him on domestic violence charges, the affidavit said.

Garrick and Larrana married in October 2024 and welcomed a daughter last July.

He has a plural marriage with his first wife, Danielle. They have three older children together and were legally divorced years ago so Garrick could marry two other women… both from Brazil.
