Lions’ Kerby Joseph says Detroit is ‘the best’ in NFC North, ‘We Should Win’ division

It’s not the Vikings, Packers or Bears… no, according Kerby Josephthe real kings of NFC North are the Lions!

The defensive back made that clear TMZ Sports After Detroit’s blowout win over Minnesota in Week 7, he truly believes his team is the top dog in the NFL’s best division.

He even told us he thinks the Lions should be considered favorites from here.

“I feel like we have to win the division,” said the 23-year-old safety, “and just take over and get to the playoffs and eventually the Super Bowl. I feel like we have the guys to do it We trust each other and I feel like we’re playing great ball.”

There won’t be many outsiders who will argue with Kerby…because after all, the Lions just went into Minneapolis and defeated the previously undefeated Vikings 31-29.

Detroit had also taken a closer look at the Dallas Cowboys the week before… and for now, it certainly looks like the Lions are the best in the NFC.

But Green Bay and Chicago — as well as Minnesota — have all flashed … with the trio combining for an impressive 14-5 record.

As for whether Detroit could move forward even better by getting Aidan Hutchinson back from a broken leg, Joseph seemed to think it was entirely possible the pass rusher could return if and when the team makes it to the Super Bowl.
