Konkona Sen Sharma’s ‘search’ series is ‘the killing’ adjustment

Dr. Sales has shown that the Indian crime drama “Search: The Naina Murder Case” will premiere next month on Jiohotstar, is based on the Danish television phenomenon “The Killing” (“Forbrydelsen”), originally produced by Dr. DRAMA. This makes it the fourth international version of the acclaimed Northern Noir series.

Made by Søren Sveistrup, the original Danish series, premiered on DR1 in 2007 and became a cultural milestone, which set up the international Nordic Noir movement. The show followed detective Sarah Lund, played by Sofie Gråbøl, whose distinctive knitted clothing and persistent research methods were generally recognized. Three seasons the series run remarkable because of his real -time narrative approach and combination of criminal research with political themes. It earned a BAFTA, among other things, awards and broadcast in more than 100 areas worldwide.

Dr. Sales continues to expand his script portfolio, after recently received a Greenlight from FX for “Cry Wolf”, with extra format deals that are expected to be announced.
