Kim Kardashian Celebrates Son Saint’s Birthday: ‘One of My Soulmates’
Kim Kardashian And Kanye West‘s eldest son, Saint, celebrated his ninth birthday on Thursday, December 5, and his proud mother let the world know through her Instagram account.
In a heartfelt post, Kardashian, 44, shared a carousel of photos showing her and Saint over the years, including the pair smiling, cuddling and sleeping. The post has almost 1.5 million likes at the time of publication.
“My birthday Santa turns 9 today,” the SKIMS founder wrote in the caption. “I was going through my photos and most of our photos are hugging photos. I always want to believe that my little man will be this cuddly forever! So cheers to one of my soulmates for being the sweetest guy. Congratulations. I love you.”
Kardashian, who also shares daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, as well as son Psalm, 5, with West, has been open about the challenges and benefits of co-parenting after divorce and raising children as a single mother. A source said We weekly in February that Kardashian and West are “amicable” co-parents. Lately, though, she’s been “pretty much a single mom,” while West “isn’t around that much,” according to an October report from People.

“My children don’t know anything,” she said. “I definitely protected [West]and I still will in the eyes of my children. For my children. So at my house, my kids don’t know anything about what’s going on [in] the outside world.”
She added in a separate podcast in November 2024 that despite the resources at her disposal, raising four children as a single mother comes with many challenges.

“Sometimes in the middle of the night, when they’re all sleeping in your bed, kicking you and crying and waking you up — it’s not something I talk about a lot because I feel like there’s always a lot of judgment,” Kardashian said in a episode of the “What the Winkler?“podcast. ‘Or people will always say, ‘Oh, but you have the resources to have a babysitter and get help.’ And I just think that regardless of the help I get, I’m basically raising four kids on my own.”
Kardashian added that she looks a lot more like a typical mother than people might realize.
“I mean, even carpooling this morning, I had five kids to take,” she said. “And everyone wants to leave at different times or wants different things. And it feels like I’m at a racing driver’s pit stop.”
