Kelsea Ballerini gushes about boyfriend Chase Stokes

The country singer, 31, raved about the Outdoor benches actor, 32, narrate People on Friday, Oct. 11 about how much she appreciates Stokes being in her life.
“He’s been such a big, beautiful part of my life for almost two years now,” Ballerini said.
The musician added that Stokes had served as a creative muse for her, adding, “I’m really proud of the art he has inspired.”

Not only is Ballerini grateful for the positive way Stokes influences her music, the “Love Me Like You Mean It” singer is also in awe of her actor boyfriend’s creative career.
“And I’m very proud to be with someone who is also a truth-teller in his own art,” she told the outlet. “And to be on the same page in that way and to share parts of our relationship and things like that so openly and willingly is really beautiful.”

“I honestly think that when you find someone who is not only someone you love and adore, but who is also your best friend, you have the best of both worlds,” he said during an appearance on Thursday, October 3 on Today. “And not only is she an amazing person, but everything you see – whether it’s on social media or when she’s on stage – is exactly the person she is when she’s not doing those things.”
Stokes also recently shared that his mother found out about the couple’s romance in an unexpected way.
“I went home and every year during the holidays I go back to my mother’s house. And I was driving from Charleston where I live to Florida where my mom is, and I came down the stairs and she was playing music,” Stokes recalled on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon early October. “I thought, ‘Wait a minute… Is Kelsea Ballerini playing on my mom’s speaker system? And I just looked up at the sky and thought, ‘What the f…?’
He continued: “My mother heard me and said, ‘Is that her?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, that’s the girl I told you I was talking to. It’s strange that you listen to her in your home. And it’s been almost two years [of dating] now.”
