Kelly Clarkson to interview Teddy Swims, Lizzo in NBC’s Songs & Stories

NBC has Greenlit a new talk series entitled “Songs & Stories with Kelly Clarkson”, in which the singer “Since you Gone Gone” Teddy Swims, Lizzo, the Jonas Brothers and Gloria Estefan will interview.

The four-night event is based on a layout of ‘The Kelly Clarkson’, the talk show during the day of the singer that is broadcast in syndication over various NBC stations. She has previously interviewed different artists in special episodes of ‘Songs & Stories’.

The official logline for NBC’s Verison of the Series is: “The conversations are a front row only for Kelly Clarkson to get in touch with some of her favorite celebrities and to investigate both their music and personal lives. The specials are a forum where iconic voices meet sincere stories through unfiltered conversation.”

Previous episodes of “Songs & Stories” in “The Kelly Clarkson Show” are aimed at R&B Singer, Songrwriter and producer Babyface, who spoke about his extensive catalog of love songs; Miranda Lambert, with whom Clarkson sang a cover of “good luck, honey!” by Chappell Roan; Alanis Morisssette, who discussed how she originally wanted to record the iconic single “Ironic” on her album “Jagged Little Pill” before she sang it with Clarkson; And Pink, who then teased her upcoming album “Trustfall” and performed her hit “Winging US” from 2017 as a duet with Clarkson.

“Stories & Songs with Kelly Clarkson” will be broadcast on 19 August, 26 August, 2 September and 9 September at 10 p.m. Universal Television is the studio in the series, with Alex Duda, Kareen Gunning and Clarkson who serve as executive producers.
