Katy Perry holds hands with Justin Trudeau in first major appearance

Katya Perry And Justin Trudeau took their romance to the City of Light for a very special date.
The former Canadian Prime Minister, 53, was filmed holding hands with the ‘Dark Horse’ singer after a date in Paris for her 41st birthday on Saturday, October 25. Imagery published by TMZ showed Perry wearing a tight red dress and receiving a rose from a fan outside a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris.
As Trudeau held her hand, Perry accepted the rose as other audience members sang “Happy Birthday” outside the venue. Trudeau and Perry were all smiles as they briefly acknowledged the crowd of photographers and fans before getting into a waiting car.
It’s been a whirlwind few months for the two stars. The couple was first spotted taking a stroll in Montreal’s Mount Royal Park in July, before enjoying a private meal together at Le Violon restaurant a few hours later.
Perry and Trudeau have since taken several outings in recent months, including a PDA-filled trip on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, in early October.
We weekly learned on Friday, October 24, that both Perry and Trudeau are trying to maintain their privacy despite increasing public interest in their relationship.
“Katy is really looking forward to it. She is very happy,” said an insider Us. “She’s trying to keep it low key, and they’ve been spending a lot of private time together. She has no intention of publicizing this relationship.”
The source added, “Their friends think they’re a good match, but he hasn’t actually met many of her friends yet.”
Trudeau and Perry squeezed their last date in between the musician’s concerts Lives European tour. Perry performed at the Accor Arena in Paris on Friday and will be back on stage at the MVM Dome in Budapest, Hungary on Monday, October 27. (Perry’s European leg Lives The tour ends on November 11 in Madrid, Spain, before heading to Asia to close out the year.)

(Bloom shares 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove with Perry, and shares 14-year-old son Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr. Perry was married to a comedian and political pundit Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.)
“Orlando and Katy have shifted their relationship in recent months to focus on co-parenting,” reps for the couple confirmed in a joint statement to Us on July 3. “They will continue to be seen together as a family because their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
In September, Bloom, 48, told NBC’s Today that he was “grateful” to share “the most beautiful daughter” with Perry, adding: “We are amazing [and] we’re going to be great. It is nothing but love.”
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor even made light of Perry’s new romance with Trudeau on a satirical website The onion suggested that Bloom could develop a relationship with the former German chancellor Angela Merkel in retaliation. Bloom responded in the comments section by simply writing: “👏👏👏.”
Meanwhile, Justin and his ex-wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeauconfirmed that they signed a divorce agreement in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage. (Sophie and Justin share three children: Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.)
“They remain a close family,” a spokesperson for the couple said in a statement at the time. “Both parents will be a constant presence in their children’s lives and Canadians can expect to see the family together often.”
