Kate Beckinsale mourns mother Judy Loe’s death after cancer fights

Kate Beckinsale Has emotionally shared the news of her mother’s death after a diagnosis of phase 4 cancer. She was 78.

Post To her Instagram On Thursday, July 17, Beckinsale, 51, shared the devastating news as she tried to her deceased mother, Judy Loe.

“I don’t want to post this. I only post this because I have to register the death certificate of my mother and it will soon be public,” the actress wrote. “She died the night of July 15 in my arms after immeasurable suffering.”

In addition to the post, the Pearl Harbor Over the years, Star shared a carousel with photos with Judy.

“I have not chosen the best photos, nor the best videos, because I cannot tolerate it to go through my cameraol. I apologize deep to one of her friends who find out in this way or through the press, but I can’t go through her phone,” she continued in the post. “I am paralyzed. Jude was the compass of my life, the love of my life, my dearest friend. The vastness and huge heart of this little woman has touched so many people who love her. She has been brave in so many ways, sometimes too much forgiveness in the ultimate good in people and the world is so weak without it that it is almost impossible to wear.”

Beckinsale concluded the post and wrote: “Mom, I love you so much. This has been my biggest fear since I found my father dead at five and I am here. Oh my mum … I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.

Beckinsale’s father, Richard BeckinsaleDied at 31 in his sleep due to a heart attack in 1979, to which she referred in her position.

The actress has previously paid tribute to her deceased father via social media, also in 2019 when she wrote: “40 years is missing a lot. Thank you very much to everyone who has been nice. A lot of love xx.”

Beckinsale also lost her stepfather, Roy Battersby In January 2024, who died after a ‘short illness’.

In January, the Canary Black Actress touched her grief about losing both her father’s figures in an Instagram post to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Battersby’s death.

“Finding my father’s dead body alone in the middle of the night at the age of five. I formed my whole life. I see my beloved stepfather die today a year ago, will haunt me forever,” wrote Beckinsale in a tribute post. “It seems terribly careless to be present for both dead and unable to prevent, trying the second time with everything I had. It wasn’t enough.”
